Leadership Development Process

"In today's education we must identify and cultivate the talent that already resides within our schools." (Results Now, Schmoker, 2006)

A new generation of administrators face challenges that require tried and true protocols and tools for involving all decision makers and stake-holders. The Leadership Development Process,  first introduced to administrators and lead teachers in 1989 by TASA (Texas Association of School Administrators) , has received a face lift and revisions to meet today's needs and challenges. Long tested and productive tools such as Systems Framework, The Connector, Meeting Leading, the Task Cycle and others will be presented in a two-day seminar with blog follow up possibilities.

The Leadership Development Process offers information, practice, and application tools and concepts which enable participants to:
  • Use systematic thought processes to develop and implement effective action plans.
  • Develop a culture that fosters teamwork and leads to enhanced employee participation in and commitment to the school organization and its goals.
  • Improve leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Increase the quality of thought of all employees in the organization.
  • Make decisions at the most appropriate level in the organization.
  • Sharpen their focus
